At the Rican Veterinary Centre, in the Prosperidad neighbourhood (Madrid), we actively promote prevention and responsible pet care. That’s why we launch regular campaigns with special discounts on essential services, so that your companion’s health never depends on financial factors.

General Check-up
Includes:
- Complete clinical examination
- Blood tests
- X-rays
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
A general check-up is key to early detection of health problems, especially in older pets or those with a medical history.
Rabies Vaccination and Identification Campaign
Rabies Vaccination and Identification Campaign
Rabies vaccination is mandatory for dogs from three months of age and is recommended for cats and ferrets. Microchip identification is also mandatory for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and equines.
Required documentation:
- Vaccination card (if already vaccinated)
- Owner’s national identity card
- If someone else is attending on your behalf: signed authorisation and photocopy of the owner’s national identity card (or sent by email)
- Important: Payment is made in cash at the clinic. Note: Deworming is not included, but can be requested from €2 as an additional service.

Leishmaniasis Test Campaign - Offer €25
Leishmaniasis is a serious and potentially fatal disease transmitted by a mosquito (sand fly). It is endemic in Madrid and the Mediterranean basin.
Recommendations from the medical team:
- Perform the test annually, preferably between October and January.
- Use external antiparasitic treatments during the months of highest risk (March to November).
- Apply preventive measures: mosquito nets, environmental hygiene, insecticides, sleeping indoors.
- Complement with testing for filariasis, another parasitic disease transmitted by mosquitoes.

Oral hygiene prevents inflammation, infections, halitosis, tooth loss and systemic diseases. This campaign includes professional tartar and plaque cleaning with a 25% discount on the usual price. Check conditions and availability.

Males and females. Check prices according to species, weight and type of procedure. Sterilisation prevents unwanted litters, improves behaviour and reduces the risk of reproductive diseases.

Special price for cat colony control programmes (CER, CES, TNR protocol: Capture, Sterilisation and Return). Our team actively collaborates in animal welfare and responsible adoption projects.
These actions help prevent cat overpopulation, abandonment and the suffering of stray cats. Find out more, with no obligation, if you collaborate with any association or group.
VETERINARY CLAIMS
Modification of a rigid and ineffective prescription system. The use of most antibiotics requires culture, which is an added cost. Presvet bureaucracy.
Veterinarians must be able to dispense the complete and necessary treatments, no more and no less.
Animal health is not a luxury. No to 21% VAT.
The authorities must listen to veterinarians.
