Founded in 1993 by brothers and veterinarians Carlos and Ricardo Nunes Gómez, Centro Veterinario Rican is now a benchmark in the Prosperidad neighbourhood, in the Chamartín district (Madrid). Over the years, we have grown alongside the families who place their trust in us, adapting to new clinical, technological and social needs, without ever losing the personal touch that defines us.
Located at C/Santa Rita, 2, on the corner of C/Baeza and very close to C/Clara del Rey, we are just a few minutes’ walk from the Alfonso XIII, Prosperidad and Cartagena underground stations. We offer dog and cat grooming, a shop specialising in nutrition and accessories, and temporary boarding for dogs, cats and exotic pets. Each service is designed to ensure that your pet is cared for, comfortable and safe, both in their daily life and in specific situations that require special attention.

Our health plans are designed to facilitate your pet’s medical care, with an affordable monthly fee. They include vaccinations, tests, worming, preventive visits and discounts on other services. They allow problems to be detected before they become serious and provide ongoing care, without cost being a barrier. Because prevention is also part of care.
All our consultations include a comprehensive examination, individual assessment and, where appropriate, planning of tests or treatments, always explained step by step.
Well-being beyond the consultation: hairdresser, residence and shop
In addition to medical care, at Centro Veterinario Rican we also take care of your pet’s physical and emotional well-being. We offer dog and cat grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and techniques such as stripping or scissor cutting, all with products suitable for each type of coat and skin.
We also offer temporary boarding for dogs, cats and small exotic pets, with supervised feeding, hygiene, entertainment and veterinary care during their stay.
In our shop, you can find a selection of products for your pet’s health and everyday needs. We also stock high-quality pet food such as Bittal, formulated by vets, with fresh meat and no artificial preservatives. This food can be purchased at the clinic or delivered directly to your home with our home delivery service.
